Hungry Shark is a simulator game with RPG elements where you get in control of a shark that needs to swim around, hunt various sea creatures and level up to survive. Feel what it’s like to be a shark!

At the start of the game, your character will be a basic shark with certain parameters which are bite, speed, health and boost. As you earn points and coins, you will be able to a) increase your characteristics within your current shark species; b) unlock a new, better shark to control. Both options are good and will allow you to live your shark life on a fuller scale. The number of sharks you can evolve into is quite large, so it’s gonna take you many hours to get to the very last, strongest and deadliest one.

While coins can be gathered right around you and found in the chests, points are earned for completing specific tasks. For instance, you may be challenged to eat 100 units of a particular fish type upon doing which you will get a new level. Note that some fish species may be dangerous to you, not so much because of their size or the size of their teeth for that matter, but due to more subtle mechanisms of fighting for their lives. For instance, trying to eat a sea hedgehog may get you poisoned by one of the spikes he will shoot at you. So be careful even though you’re a big bad shark!

When all the fish is eaten, it’s time to snack on humans!

As you move through the gameplay, you will travel around all kinds of locations, from the open sea to mysterious ocean caves and from coral reefs to human-packed beaches. That’s where you can have most of the fun – and besides, humans will keep your hunger meter from dropping for much longer than the rest of your prey. However, you need to remember that humans are well-armed and if you keep terrorizing their resorts, they will start hunting you wtih their harpoons and boats. Even a lousy diver can pose a threat to you wielding a knife. At least, until you gain another level and unlock an even more advanced shark!
